I was privileged to be offered the task of creating a new colour scheme for Alpha Lifecare’s commercial premises in an industrial area at Wynnum, Queensland. The company specialises in providing medical equipment to the healthcare industry, NDIS and Disability Services entities in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.
My vision was to create a colour scheme that not only resonated with the building’s style but also captured the company’s corporate colour identity.
The Process
My client, a Director of the company, is based in Sydney so our communication was via my online virtual colour consulting platform.
The Palette
For the exterior I selected Colorbond Monument offset by Colorbond Dover White and Colorbond Shale Grey for the rendered walls. I utilised the company’s corporate logo colour of Dulux Ace of Hearts (red) to add a pop of colour as a signature statement.
For the interior, I selected charcoal carpet tiles for the office premises to coordinate with the Monument used on the exterior. I then added feature walls in the office using Dulux Enterprise (greyed-blue) which I colour-matched to the Laminex granite-look bench top in the kitchen and break-out room.
The Outcome
The result was a harmonious blend of functionality and style. The new colours elevated the company’s presence making it a landmark of modern design and is testament to the transformative power of colour.
